Opening
On 15 August 1950 Nick Mariana filmed two bright objects over Great Falls, Montana, with a water tower in the frame that later analysts used as a scale. Blue Book offered jets. Mariana said he had seen discs, not fighters, and that the jets came after. The tower is why the film is not only two blobs. The argument is still jets versus something else in the same sky.
Mariana is a sports-team promoter with a camera and a tower. Keep later catalogue ivy on the shelf.

Finding
Nick Mariana filmed two lights over Great Falls on 15 August 1950 with a water tower in the frame and said jets were not the first objects. Believe the reel as a reel. A man with a camera does not invent a tower for a later stamp.
What still will not resolve: a second camera from that minute, or a jet close Mariana would sign for the first pair. Either one would pin the lights. The proving object is still those objects against the tower, held as fighters or as other by more than a Blue Book line.
