REX 84

Opening

REX 84, Readiness Exercise 1984, was a continuity and civil-disturbance planning drill associated with FEMA and Defence paper in the Reagan years. Oliver North's name later sat near it in Iran-Contra rooms because continuity files had lived in the same building as other projects. The public met REX 84 as a martial-law rumour.
