VORONEZH

Opening

On 27 September 1989 TASS reported that children and others in a park in Voronezh had watched a craft land and figures walk out, including a robot in the later telling. Soviet television and Western wires took the park. A local paper had already run a version. Militia and a correspondent sat with drawings. When Western crews arrived the landing ground was a park that held no wreck and no official object. The wire had already done its work.

Voronezh is a late-Soviet landing story that went global because TASS put it on the ticker. That ticker is the file. The park is the gap.

Finding

TASS told the world on 27 September 1989 that a craft had landed in a Voronezh park, and crews who came after found a park. Believe the ticker as a ticker. A state wire does not invent a town for a later clip.

What still will not resolve: an object from that grass, or a signed retraction that the drawings were play. Either one would pin the park. The proving object is still that craft on the ground, held as story or as machine by more than a dispatch.
